What is CrossFit?

"CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional atheletes worldwide. THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING THE 2ND ANNUAL KCPD CROSSFIT THROWDOWN!

The 2nd Annual KCPD CrossFit Halloween Throwdown was held on October 29, 2011at the Kansas City Regional Training Academy outdoor track. Over 130 CrossFitters participated in the 3 events of the day and several kids enjoyed hay rides, a spooky forest, a haunted house, crafts, and games.

All proceeds will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project and the NLETC Jerry Lindell Memorial Scholarship Fund.

River Market CrossFit Hero Wall
River Market CrossFit invites you to participate in a group WOD on November 19th at 10am at 450 E. 4th Street. Prior to beginning the WOD, a Hero Wall be dedicated in honor of the military men and women who have paid the ultimate sacrifice to keep us free and safe.  The first hero going on the wall is Marine Sergeant James Mcilvane, killed in Iraq on April 30, 2009.
