Penn Valley Park 

Photo of Penn Valley ParkHome to the Liberty Memorial and National World War I Museum, this 130-acre park holds great historic significance. Developed in 1904 on land through which the Santa Fe Trail had passed, the grounds are home to commemorative statues such as The Scout, the Pioneer Mother Memorial and The Hiker.

The park also is home to a 3-acre lake, off-leash dog park, skate park, 2-mile exercise trail, tennis courts and ball fields.

Penn Valley Park is located at Pershing Road and Main Street.
