Dog Park Task Force Report Edit-Layout Committee meet

Dog Park Task Force Advisory Committee
The advisory committee consists of a diverse group of 15 members; two representatives from each councilmatic district plus a representative from W.O.O.F. (Well Organized Offleash Friends), a representative from D.I.G. (Dogpark Improvement Group), and the committee chair. Members include:
- Chairman: Mel Solomon
- 1st District: Linda Cochran and Laura Devine
- 2nd District: Katie Campbell and Carolyn Vellar
- 3rd District: Mary Mittenfelner and Suzanne Niemeyer
- 4th District: Mary Mountain, DVM, and Holly Miller
- 5th District: Dr. Wayne Steckelberg and Leslie McLendon
- 6th District: Tom Wyrsch and Gary Amerine
- W.O.O.F representative: Jeremy Schlicher
- D.I.G. representative: Paul Randall
The task force will research best practices and review residents' input in order to make recommendations to the Board of Parks and Recreation Commissioners for the development of a system-wide masterplan for off-leash dog parks in Kansas City, Mo.
