The Neighborhood Improvement Program is designed to improve physical conditions and general livability of declining areas. The program includes intensive coordination of City services in areas selected for the program. These services include crime prevention, fire prevention, code enforcement, home repair assistance and public infrastructure repairs. Neighborhood organizations representing selected areas will be required to partner with the City and seek corporate and foundation sponsors to help ensure the success of the program in their neighborhood. Maps of current neighborhood organizations are listed below.
