Youth Commission
The Kansas City Youth Commission strives to mobilize and encourage the city's youth to become engaged in the civic arena and promote positive programs and activities in the community.

Apply for mini-grants
The Youth Commission seeks to administer seven, $1,000 reimbursable mini-grants to promote programs that contribute to the success of young people. The following have already been awarded grants: 20/20 Leadership; East United Economic Development Center; Episcopal Community Services; Fellowship of Christian Athletes; Ivanhoe Neighborhood Council; Kansas City Church Community Organization; KIPP Endeavor Academy; Mattie Rhodes Center; Palestine Church; Police Athletic League; ReStart; Saint James Methodist Church; and YVCA Youth Volunteer Corp.
