    The 3-1-1 Action Center is your central point of contact for City services. If you need information or have questions about the City, contact the Action Center by dialing 311. If you need to request a City service or report a problem with City services, contact the Action Center.

    How to contact the Action Center:

    • Visit our office on the first floor of City Hall weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    • Call our office at 311 or (816) 513-1313 between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. You may leave a recorded message after office hours.
    • Fax our office at (816) 513-1303.
    • E-mail our office at actioncenter@kcmo.org.
    • Complete an online Request for Service form.
    • Mail your report or request to the Action Center, City Hall, first floor, 414 E. 12th St., Kansas City, MO 64106.

    What information you will need when contacting the Action Center:

    • The exact address or location or as much information as possible to help us identify the exact address.
    • Length of time the current situation or condition has existed.
    • As many details about the situation or condition as possible (example: an abandoned vehicle's make, model, year, color, license plate number). Be as specific as possible.
    • Your name and address if you would like to receive follow-up information on your request.

    What happens when you make a Request for Service:

    • When appropriate, a request for services (RFS) will be completed by the customer service staff.
    • Each service request is assigned a number (RFS #) that you can use to track your request through to completion. You may do this online, by phone, or in person at the Action Center.
    • Service requests are forwarded to a key contact person in the appropriate department. The department will take responsibility for a timely response to the request.
    • If you have provided your name and address, you will be notified in writing when the service request has been completed.
