  • More about the conference
  • Kansas City is hosting the Sister Cities International 2008 annual conference July 16-19, 2008 at the Westin Crown Center. As one of the largest international gatherings in Kansas City, this exciting conference will require the assistance of about 170 volunteers.

If you have a passion for international affairs and enjoy meeting new people, we invite you to join the KC International Volunteers Corps. These members are motivated individuals who will provide much needed support for SCI conference organizers and attendees. They will also have a unique opportunity to be involved in the inner workings of a major international event, work with delegates from all over the world and help showcase the best of Kansas City.

To volunteer, please fill out and submit the online application by June 9. A mandatory training session will be provided prior to the conference. These sessions will take place at the Kauffman Foundation on June 17 or 24 from 6-8 p.m.
