  • Background

The HPV Initiative is possible because of grants provided by the Health Care Foundation of Greater Kansas City and the Reach Healthcare Foundation. This Initiative will provide the vaccine free of charge to females who are unable to receive the vaccine at a reasonable cost through their own health insurance.

    Eligibility

Girls and women from 9 to 26 years old are eligible for the free vaccine if:

    1. They have no health insurance or
    2. Their health insurance does not cover Gardasil, the HPV vaccine or
    3. They are unable to pay the copay or deductable to receive the HPV vaccine through their health insurance.
