The Hazmat Chemist performs specialized and complex chemical analyses for hazardous substance encountered
by KCFD personnel. Prepares detailed reports on fixed facilities and transportation routes handling hazardous
materials.

Hazmat Training Officer

The Hazmat Training Officer instructs the Hazmat team members on the use and maintenance of all HazMat equipment.
Schedules yearly physicals for HazMat team members. Trains HazMat personnel.

The MMRS Coordinator-Trainer assist in coordinating the counter-terrorism for the Kansas City Metropolitan
Area. Research and recommend purchasing of nuclear, biological and chemical response equipment. Serves as a liaison
and trainer for local, state, and federal agencies.
