The new consolidated tax charts for sales taxes and Convention and Tourism (C&T) taxes are now available for Kansas City hotels and restaurants in Clay, Jackson and Platte counties. These charts include a 0.375 percent increase in the Jackson County Sales Tax effective Oct. 1, 2006.

The chart includes only state, county and city sales taxes which are payable to the State of Missouri and the convention and tourism tax which is payable to the City of Kansas City, Missouri. Additional sales taxes designated as Transportation Development District (TDD) and Community Development District (CDD) taxes are imposed by certain districts within the City but are not included in the tax chart calculations.
