Cindy Circo was elected to the City Council in 2007. She has been a resident of Kansas City for the past 23 years, establishing roots in the Country Valley Neighborhood in the eastern part of the 5th District.

    Active in her community, Cindy has served on various boards and committees including the PIAC (Public Improvements Advisory Committee). She served as her neighborhood’s association president until her election and is a former PTA president.

    Cindy currently serves the City as a member of the Neighborhoods and Public Safety Committee and serves as vice chairwoman of the Plans and Zoning Committee.

    Cindy has been a small business owner in Kansas City for decades. She is married to Dan Circo and is the mother of two teenage boys.
