CIMO wins local industrial award
On Friday, Jan. 26, the Capital Improvements Management Office received a Brick-by-Brick Award from Kansas City’s Industrial Council. CIMO was recognized at the 14th annual Economic Outlook and Brick-by-Brick Awards luncheon as a distinguished public partner responsible for contributions made to the industrial areas of Kansas City for its management of seven bridge construction projects.

Kansas City Plan Room launches
The Kansas City Plan Room opened for business on October 2, 2006. The Plan Room, a partnership between the City and the Builders Association, allows potential bidders to view, download and print all City construction plans and specifications online for free.

CIMO wins APWA recognition
The Missouri branch of the American Public works Association recognized the Capital Improvements Management Office's success with three APWA Project of the Year awards and one Management Innovation award.
