of Kansas City, Mo.,
officials, including City Councilmembers, received a firsthand update on one of south Kansas City’s
most anticipated public works projects.
Officials toured the Bannister Acres project site with members of the
community after receiving a briefing at Bannister
Road

E. Bannister Road in Kansas City.
The Bannister Acres project is a massive sanitary sewer program
designed to tie approximately 60 residences into the City’s
sanitary sewer system, the majority of which currently depend on septic
sewer systems. The project, being managed by the Capital Improvements
Management Office, started construction last month and is scheduled for
completion next spring.
