The Conference Center’s stunning, 33,000-square-foot lobby features a dazzling collection of art deco light sculptures.

The sculptures, along with the Convention Center’s four “Sky Stations,” were funded by Kansas City’s One-Percent-For-Art program. The artwork visually unites the contemporary Conference Center with the Convention Center and the historic Municipal Auditorium, which are all connected by skywalks.

The fully carpeted lobby features portable walls, which allow event planners to construct up to three break-out rooms or offices to support registration areas. Whether open or divided, Lobby 1500 offers an elegant pre-function and/or registration space.

Visitors may enter Level 1 of the Conference Center from the south side of 14th Street, which offers covered access for loading and unloading vehicles. A box office is available for ticketed public events.
