Public meeting for River Market improvement project
Citizens are invited to an open house to review plans for the Second Street improvement project impacting the River Market District and Columbus Park Neighborhood. The open house will be held Dec. 6 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the Don Bosco Senior Center, located at 580 Campbell St., Kansas City, Mo.
The Second Street improvement project encompasses the area from Delaware Street to Holmes Street. It will create a functional corridor that is pedestrian accessible and aesthetically engaging. Construction is scheduled to begin in spring 2007. This project is being managed by the City of Kansas City, Mo., Capital Improvements Management Office. The project was designed by Brian Clark + Associates.
