Health Department to observe National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day
The City of Kansas City, Mo., Health Department will observe National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day with a town hall meeting entitled "RE-Sound the Alarm: HIV/AIDS in Black America, 2007."
The meeting will be held Feb. 7 at the Bruce R. Watkins Cultural Heritage Center, 3700 Blue Parkway, from 7-9 p.m. Discussion will focus on HIV/AIDS in the African-American community, and free, confidential HIV testing will be available.
The department's HIV Prevention and Planning Council Support Section has partnered with the following organizations to present this town hall meeting:

Kansas City Free Health Clinic

Swope Health Services
