Nov. 5-7, 2008
Presented by the City of Kansas City, Mo., International Affairs and Trade Office in partnership with the North America’s SuperCorridor Coalition, fourth annual conference will focus on the next steps toward an efficient, secure and sustainable North American economic system.
Conference roundtables will examine strategies to strengthen our freight transportation systems and to further “producer to consumer” networks that will put inland ports at the center of global commerce. Business leaders will examine entrepreneurial successes (and failures) in ventures along the International Mid-Continent Corridor, and a group of environmental specialists will discuss “greening the trade corridors.” Finally, in cooperation with other border and transportation minded organizations, the conference will send an agenda for action to the new administration to improve cross-border and corridor security and management.
Registration fee: $250 / $195 NASCO members
Admission to conference sessions, two working breakfasts, keynote luncheon, a reception and the North America Night dinner
