City crews prepared to respond to winter storm Wednesday, February 20, 2013
City of Kansas City, Mo., crews assigned to arterial, primary and residential streets are prepared to respond to the winter storm that is forecast to move through the Kansas City area overnight. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the metro area beginning at midnight tonight to midnight tomorrow night.

City provides update to Plaza fire Wednesday, February 20, 2013
The City of Kansas City, Mo., reported during a 10:30 a.m. press conference that a body has been recovered at the scene of the Plaza fire. Positive identification has not been made on the body at this time. The investigation is ongoing at the scene, and crews are working to establish what happened to cause this explosion and fire.
