WSD to perform water valve test shuts around 7th, May Streets Tuesday, October 4, 2011
Wednesday night, the City of Kansas City, Mo., Water Services Department will be performing a water valve test shut in the area of 8th and Broadway in preparation for replacement of water valves. The test shut will put consumers temporarily out of water. Following a successful valve test, a date will be set to replace the inoperable water valves.

Water Services to perform water valve test in north Quality Hill area Tuesday, September 27, 2011
The City of Kansas City, Mo., Water Services Department will perform a water valve test on Tuesday, Sept. 27 from 7 p.m. to midnight in the north Quality Hill neighborhood, approximately from 5th to 10th streets and from Wyandotte to Washington streets. The test will temporarily shut off consumers’ water service in this area. Notices have been left for the consumers advising them of this temporary loss of service.
