Northbound lanes of State Line Road closed at Meadow Lake Parkway
The northbound lanes of State Line Road are closed at Meadow Lake Parkway due to a 12-inch water main break. Traffic can go east on Meadow Lake Parkway to Ward Parkway or west on Cambridge Street.
A water main break damaged the road requiring the lanes to be closed for repairs. The water main was repaired today, Sunday. A temporary northbound lane is expected to be provided on Monday. It anticipated that State Line will be fully open later in the week.
“Unfortunately, the number of water main breaks continues at a record setting pace with 230 so far this month. The 2011 annual total will be the highest in at the last 14 years. Water Services’ crews and its contractors continue to make repairs and restorations, but responses are taking longer because of the extremely high number of breaks” said Acting Director Terry Leeds. “Water main breaks are prioritized with the water outage cases and property damage cases being repaired first.”
