Special Committee on Small Business to host meeting at Faulkner’s Ranch and Pumpkin Farm
The City of Kansas City, Mo., encourages area businesses to attend and provide input at the Special Committee on Small Business’s next evening meeting on Monday, Oct. 17 at 7 p.m. While regular committee meetings are held at City Hall, this meeting will be held offsite at Faulkner’s Ranch and Pumpkin Farm, a small Kansas City business located at 10600 Raytown Road in south Kansas City.
“I wanted to bring the committee to South Kansas City to give our small businesses another opportunity to provide input to help us streamline the City process of starting and expanding a business,” said Small Business Committee Chair, Councilman Scott Taylor.
The Special Committee on Small Business focuses on streamlining City services related to doing business in Kansas City, Mo. While the committee generally meets on Thursdays at noon, they are holding this evening meeting to allow businesses that would normally be unable to attend at noon the opportunity to come and share ideas.
In addition, a website, www.kcmomentum.com, is currently available to allow comments from individuals or businesses that may not be available to testify during a meeting.
The committee includes Councilman Scott Taylor, Councilman Scott Wagner, Councilman Jermaine Reed and Councilwoman Cindy Circo.
