City co-hosts free seminar on starting a business in a tough economy

The City of Kansas City, Mo., in conjunction with Swope Community Builders, will host a free seminar on Tuesday, July 19 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. to discuss the ins and outs of “Starting a Business during Tough Economic Times.” The seminar will be held at Swope Community Builders Small Business Advisory Center, 4001 Blue Parkway.

During the seminar, participants will learn why starting a business now may be a good idea and have an opportunity to meet and network with other successful entrepreneurs, learning techniques to successfully sell products and services in the Kansas City area.

This seminar is free and open to the public, but space is limited. Residents who wish to attend must contact Swope Community Builders at 816-627-2192 or to reserve their space.
