Neighborhood Tourist Development Fund holds grant application workshop
Organizations interested in applying for 2011-12 fiscal year reimbursable grants from the City of Kansas City, Mo., Neighborhood Tourist Development Fund are invited to attend the annual informational workshop. Three workshops are scheduled:
Thursday, Sept. 16, 6 p.m., Northland Neighborhoods Inc., 3015 NE Vivion Road
Wednesday, Sept. 22, 10 a.m., Southeast Community Center, 4201 E. 63rd St.
Thursday, Sept. 23, 5:30 p.m., Robert J. Mohart Multipurpose Center, 3200 Wayne Ave.
To apply for a grant, organizations must be a non-profit incorporated in the State of Missouri with a registered office within Kansas City, Mo. city limits. Its mission must emphasize neighborhood, community, tourism, promotion and development priorities. Finally, the organization must meet City requirements for contracting with non-municipal agencies.
Application packets will be available at the workshop and will be due Oct. 15.
