KCNAC seeks candidates to fill board positions
The Kansas City Neighborhood Advisory Council is seeking candidates to fill several board member positions for the 2010-2011 term. The KCNAC is a six-region advisory board to the governing bodies of the City, with an emphasis on the director of the Neighborhood and Community Services Department. They aim to represent Kansas City’s diverse neighborhoods’ interest in the development and implementation of government policies affecting them.
The next KCNAC meeting will be held Tuesday, Oct. 5 at 4 p.m. in the Neighborhood & Community Services Department West Conference Room on the 4th Floor of City Hall, 414 E. 12th St. Meetings are open to the public.
Kansas City residents interested in running for one of the available seats need to complete and return an application to Tiffany Drummer in the Neighborhood & Community Services Department by Oct. 8.
