City suspends liquor license of Kennedy’s Bar & Grill for two days
The City of Kansas City, Mo., Regulated Industries Division of the Neighborhood and Community Services Department and Kennedy’s Bar & Grill, a restaurant, have agreed to a two-day suspension of the liquor license. Kennedy’s Bar & Grill is located at 500 W 75th Street.
The suspension will begin Aug. 9 at 6 a.m. and end Aug. 11 at 1:30 a.m. The suspension is the result of multiple City ordinance violations for allowing alcoholic beverages to be consumed by customers on an unlicensed portion of the premise. During the suspension, the business will be closed.
As a condition of the suspension, the Managing Officer of Kennedy’s Bar & Grill has agreed to provide education, training and instruction to their employees about City ordinances.
Media inquiries about this issue should be directed to David Park, acting director of the Neighborhood and Community Services Department, at 816-513-3231.
