City suspends liquor license of Neighbors Lounge for ten days
The City of Kansas City, Mo., Regulated Industries Division of the Neighborhood and Community Services Department and the Managing Officer of Neighbors Lounge, a tavern, has agreed to a ten day suspension of its liquor license. Neighbors Lounge is located at 9025 E 35th St.
Two days of the suspension will be served immediately, while the remaining eight days will be held in abeyance and will not be served provided there are no future violations within the next twelve months of chapter 10 or chapter 34 ordinance of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Kansas City, Mo.
The suspension will begin July 19 at 6 a.m. and end July 21 at 1:30 a.m. This suspension is the result of multiple violations of the smoking ordinance. During the suspension, the business will be closed.
As a condition of the suspension, the Managing Officer of Neighbors Lounge has agreed to provide education, training and instruction to employees about City ordinances.
