City suspends liquor license of One Stop Party Shop for seven days
The City of Kansas City, Mo., Regulated Industries Division of the Neighborhood and Community Services Department and One Stop Party Shop, a convenience store, has agreed to a seven day suspension of the liquor license. One Stop Party Shop is located at 3530 Troost Ave.
The suspension will begin July 24 at 6 a.m. and end July 31 at 1:30 a.m. The suspension is the result of employees selling alcoholic beverages to minors which is a city ordinance violation. During the suspension, One Stop Party Shop will be closed.
One Stop Party Shop was also placed on a six month probationary period due to repeat violations of employees selling alcoholic beverages to minors. Should One Stop Party Shop fail to successfully complete the probationary period, they will be required to obtain consents from a majority of all eligible neighboring property owners in order to retain all liquor licenses and permits.
As a condition of the suspension, the Managing Officer of One Stop Party Shop has agreed to provide education, training and instruction to their employees about City ordinances.
