City suspends liquor license of Hen House for six days
The City of Kansas City, Mo., Regulated Industries Division of the Neighborhood and Community Services Department and the Managing Officer of the Hen House grocery store at 6238 N. Chatham Ave., have agreed to a six-day suspension of the establishment’s liquor license.
The suspension is from Aug. 16 at 6 a.m. to Aug. 22 at 1:30 a.m. The suspension is the result of employees selling alcoholic beverages to minors, which is a City ordinance violation. During the suspension, the business will remain open, but alcoholic beverages will not be sold.
As a condition of the suspension, the managing officer of Hen House has agreed to provide education, training and instruction to their employees about City ordinances.
