City suspends SOL liquor license

The City of Kansas City, Mo., Regulated Industries Division of the Neighborhood and Community Services Department and the managing officer of SOL, a restaurant and bar, have agreed to a seven-day suspension of the establishment’s liquor license. SOL is located at 408 E. 31st St.

The suspension will begin January 1 at 6 a.m. and end January 8 at 3 a.m. The suspension is the result of employees selling alcoholic beverages to minors which is a City ordinance violation. The business will be closed during the suspension.

As a condition of the suspension, the managing officer of SOL has agreed to provide education, training and instruction to their employees about City ordinances.
