Aim4Peace sponsors job and educational fair
The City of Kansas City, Mo., Aim4Peace: Movement to Stop the Shooting, an initiative of the City Manager’s Office, is sponsoring the Job and Educational Fair to provide employment and education opportunities for area residents. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Nov. 21 at the Hope Center, 2800 E. Linwood Blvd.
The event is hosted by Aim4Peace, and is designed to eliminate violence by increasing access to jobs and educational opportunities in the community. Some of the employers include: H&R Block, UPS, Wendy’s, SOS Staffing, A&H Services, Primerica and Missouri Army National Guard.
Additionally, the University of Phoenix and Devry University will be onsite to speak with prospective students about enrollment, programs and degree paths. This event is free and open to the public.
