City suspends liquor license of The Cigar Box for two days
The City of Kansas City, Mo., Regulated Industries Division of the Neighborhood and Community Services Department and the management of The Cigar Box have agreed to a two-day suspension of the establishment's liquor license. The Cigar Box is located at 1519 Grand Blvd.
The suspension will begin July 4 at 6 a.m. and end July 5 at midnight. This suspension is the result of violations of multiple City ordinances, including employees selling alcoholic beverages to minors.
As a condition of the suspension, the management of The Cigar Box has agreed to provide education, training and instruction to their employees about City ordinances.
