Water Services Utility Funding Task Force Meeting
The Water Services Utility Funding Task Force is a mayoral appointed group that includes representatives from the City Council, the business community, the Wet Weather Community Panel, community leaders, and individuals who have special expertise in local poverty issues, demographics, and development. The Water Services Utility Funding Task Force will help integrate community values into forming a funding strategy for the City’s water, sewer and stormwater utilities.
The Water Services Utility Funding Task Force will have its thirteenth meeting on Wednesday, September 3, from 5 to 6 pm at Kansas City Water Services Department, 4800 E. 63rd Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64130.

The Kansas City, Missouri Water Services Department maintains and operates water collection treatment and distribution systems, stormwater management and wastewater collection and treatment for residential and business customers in Kansas City, Missouri. The department also sells water to 33 wholesale customers in the metro area and treats wastewater for 27 satellite customers. Operation of all three utilities is funded entirely by fees charged to customers based on their use of products and services, not taxes.
