City holds youth movie night at Power & Light District

The City of Kansas City, Mo., Youth Advocacy Office, a division of the City Manager's Office, will hold a KC After Dark summer youth movie night at 7 p.m. on June 16 at the Power & Light District, 1401 Grand Blvd.

The movie, “Shrek 3,” will be shown on the large screen inside the covered area of the entertainment district. The event is for youth up to age 17 and their families. Refreshments will be sold at the event.

KC After Dark is a summer-long program designed to provide entertaining events for Kansas City youth. The City and other community and corporate partners sponsor the program.
