City Hall north entrance to be temporarily closed
The north entrance of City Hall will be closed from 9:30-11 a.m. on Oct. 25 for City Hall’s 70th anniversary celebration.
During this time, employees and visitors to City Hall are advised to use the south entrance via the ramp on Locust Street on the east side of the building.
The 70th anniversary celebration will take place on City Hall’s north plaza, directly in front of the north entrance along 11th Street, from 10-11 a.m.
Guest speakers include Mayor Mark Funkhouser, City Manager Wayne A. Cauthen, City Councilman Ed Ford, 2nd District at-Large, City Councilman Russ Johnson, 2nd District and BNIM Principal Tom Nelson. Refreshments will be served and commemorative calendars will be passed out to attendees. Self-guided tours of the 30th floor observation deck will also be offered after the event.
