City to hold Premium Auto Auction on Oct. 23
Viewing starts at 8 a.m. and auction starts at 10 a.m.
The City of Kansas City, Mo., Tow Services Division will conduct one of its Premium Auto Auctions on Oct. 23 at 3901 Bennington Ave. Registration will befrom 8-11 a.m. and the auction will start at 10 a.m.
A list of the more than 20 vehicles for sale is online at http://www.kcmo.org/neigh/tow/premiumcars.pdf. The list can be viewed online, but all bids must be made in-person. No one under 18 is allowed on the lot for participation in the auction and a state-issued identification card is required to be issued a bidder number. Buyers must pay for their cars by the close of business on the day of the auction.
The goal of the City's Premium Auto Auctions is to provide opportunities for buyers to purchase cars at lower-than-retail prices. There is no reserve on these vehicles and they will be sold to the highest bidder. Many of the vehicles being sold were obtained through police actions and seizures.
