Riley, Circo to hold workshop for 5th District neighborhood leaders

Residents will have the opportunity to meet with 5th District City Council representatives June 18 at a neighborhood leaders workshop.

Councilman Terry Riley, 5th District, and Councilwoman Cindy Circo, 5th District at large, are teaming up to present the workshop, which is scheduled from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the press room at Arrowhead Stadium, 1 Arrowhead Drive.

In addition to meeting with 5th District councilmembers, residents can participate in breakout sessions during which City employees will provide information about the Police Department, Solid Waste Division of the Public Works Department (trash collection services), Water Services Department, Health Department (rat abatement), 3-1-1 Action Center (a division of the City Manager's Office), Public Improvements Advisory Committee, Neighborhood and Community Services Department and the Parks and Recreation Department.

"The neighborhood leaders will be able to visit and ask questions in small groups, so they can get valuable information to share with their neighbors," Circo said.

Media inquiries and other requests for more information about this issue should be directed to Gina Boucher, assistant to Councilwoman Cindy Circo, (816) 513-1633 or
