Meeting about aggressive animals is June 7
The Animal Health and Public Safety Division of the City of Kansas City, Mo., Neighborhood and Community Services Department will conduct a public meeting June 7 to discuss recent animal incidents in the Kansas City area.
The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at the Bruce R. Watkins Cultural Center at 3700 Blue Parkway.
"Animal Health and Public Safety is partnering with the community to develop pro-active ordinances and practices to address aggressive animals and pet overpopulation in the community," said Mike Schumacher, manager of the Animal Health and Public Safety Division. "It is important to involve all members of the community when developing ordinances which are intended to promote safe and healthy neighborhoods."
