Reminder: Public encouraged to share input at Midtown-Plaza Area Plan meetings
The City of Kansas City, Mo., invites residents and businesses to participate in the final two Midtown-Plaza sub-area meetings during this phase of public engagement. During the meetings, City Planning and Development staff will ask meeting participants specific questions and discuss potential options to achieve the area’s vision. The City Planning and Development Department will use the feedback received during these meetings to draft the Midtown-Plaza Area Plan.
City Planning and Development staff will discuss south Brush Creek’s future on Tuesday, Nov. 12 from 6-8 p.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 11 E. 40th St. The south Brush Creek area is bound by Brush Creek to 55th Street, and State Line Road to the Paseo Boulevard.
A second meeting to discuss north Brush Creek will be held Thursday, Nov. 14 from 6-8 p.m., also at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 11 E. 40th St. The north Brush Creek area is bound by 43rd Street to Brush Creek, and State Line Road to the Paseo Boulevard.
Three meetings were held in October to discuss the other three Midtown-Plaza sub-areas. Additional public meetings will be scheduled in the coming months.
