Household Hazardous Waste Facility Closed May 7 & 8
(Kansas City, Mo.) -- Due to scheduled parking lot resurfacing, Kansas City’s Household Hazardous Waste Facility, located at 4707 Deramus Avenue, will be closed on Tuesday, May 7 and on Wednesday, May 8. The facility will re-open Thursday, May 9 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
The Household Hazardous Waste facility accepts, recycles, or safely disposes of excess or unwanted household chemicals from residents and City facilities. Residents do not need an appointment for waste drop-off.
