City works with Bank of America to facilitate home loan assistance event
The City of Kansas City, Mo., Neighborhoods and Housing Services Department and Bank of America have announced a free homeowner outreach event that will help existing Bank of America mortgage holders with home loan assistance.
The outreach event will take place at the Kansas City Convention Center, Rooms 2501 C and D (Grand Ballroom) and 2505, from Tuesday, Dec. 4 through Thursday, Dec. 6. Event hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Complimentary parking will be available in the Auditorium Plaza Garage located at the Convention Center.
Existing Bank of America mortgage holders needing help with their home loans will have an opportunity to meet one-on-one with a specialist to discuss possible relief options that may be available to them, including loan modifications.
To participate in this event, Bank of America customers must register by phone at 1-855-201-7426 or online at www.bankofamerica.com/homeloanhelp. Participants will be required to bring several documents to the event, including their two most recent monthly bank statements and federal tax returns. Homeowners who are not Bank of America customers, but having difficulty making mortgage loan payments, should contact their mortgage servicer.
