Household Hazardous Waste Facility closed Sept. 1-4
The City of Kansas City, Mo., Household Hazardous Waste Facility, located at 4707 Deramus Ave., will be closed Saturday, Sept. 1 through Tuesday, Sept. 4 in observance of the Labor Day holiday.
Regular Household Hazardous Waste Drop-off hours are Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Thursday and Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Regular Swap Shop hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.

The Kansas City, Mo., Water Services Department maintains and operates water collection, processing and distribution systems, stormwater management and control systems, and waste water collection and processing systems for residential and business customers in Kansas City and for wholesale customers in the Kansas City region. Operation is funded entirely by fees charged to customers based on their use of products and services, not by taxes.
