City offers free HIV testing June 27

The City of Kansas City, Mo., Health Department will offer free HIV testing Wednesday, June 27 at two locations in support of National HIV Testing Day.

Testing for HIV, gonorrhea, syphilis, chlamydia and Hepatitis C will be provided at the Health Department, 2400 Troost Ave., on a walk-in basis from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Informational booths will be set up in the atrium. The HIV Prevention and Planning Council will provide additional HIV/STD education information.

HIV and syphilis testing will also be available at the Healthy Harvest Market at 23rd and Charlotte streets in collaboration with Truman Medical Center from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
