City announces St. Patrick’s Day Parade street closures

The City of Kansas City, Mo., Public Works Department is advising motorists of temporary lane closures on Saturday, March 17 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. due to the 40th Annual Kansas City St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

Broadway Boulevard between 31st and 43rd streets will be closed, as well as 33rd Street/Linwood Boulevard between Main Street and Pennsylvania Avenue. Southbound J.C. Nichols Parkway will be closed between 43rd and 47th streets to allow bus parking and disbursement of participants and floats. 43rd Street between Main Street and Madison Avenue will be closed for disbursement but will be open for emergency traffic.

The parade will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. along Broadway Boulevard between 31st and 43rd streets.
