Public meeting scheduled for Phelps Road project

The City of Kansas City, Mo., Public Works Department is holding a public meeting to solicit feedback on the options available for improving both intersections of Phelps Road and U.S. Highway 40. The meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 5 at the William Southern Elementary School Gym at 4300 S. Phelps Rd. in Independence.

Those in attendance will be provided a brief presentation of proposed concepts and will be able to view displays of the proposed concepts. Public Works staff will be on hand to answer questions.
