Business License Office moves to Oak Street on Jan. 2

The City of Kansas City, Mo., Finance Department is pleased to announce the move of its Business License Office from the second and third floors of City Hall to 1118 Oak Street. The new location will be shared with BizCare, the City's comprehensive business customer service center.

"We're working hard to make Kansas City a place where it's easy for business owners and entrepreneurs to do business," said Mayor Mark Funkhouser. “Streamlining business registration and licensing and locating business license operations in the same facility as BizCare makes sense. We are continually striving for ways to improve our services to the public so that more families and more businesses will move here."

Business License office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
