Special Committee on Small Business hosts final meeting for public testimony Dec .1
The City of Kansas City, Mo., Special Committee on Small Business will hold its final meeting for public testimony at noon on Thursday, Dec. 1 on the 26th floor of City Hall, 414 E. 12th St. The committee invited several businesses known for excellent customer service to present their successful customer service strategies and experiences at the meeting.
“The committee has been very pleased with the support and involvement of local businesses, in both hosting the meetings and providing input, as we work collectively to create a better business climate in Kansas City,” said Committee Chair and Councilman Scott Taylor. “One of the recommendations of this committee will be for the City to create a ‘culture of customer service.’”
The Special Committee on Small Business aims to improve City services related to doing business in Kansas City, Mo.
In addition, a website, www.kcmomentum.com, is currently available to allow comments from individuals or businesses that may not be available to testify during a meeting.
The committee includes Councilman Scott Taylor, Councilman Scott Wagner, Councilman Jermaine Reed and Councilwoman Cindy Circo.
