Nov. 16 public health meeting invites community feedback
The City of Kansas City, Mo., will host a community meeting on public health at the Hillcrest Community Center, 10401 Hillcrest Road, on Wednesday, Nov. 16 from 6-7:30 p.m.
Health Department representatives seek comments from the community about health needs and healthcare concerns in the Hickman Mills and Ruskin Heights area. City Council members John Sharp and Scott Taylor will also be present.
“Community members are encouraged to come and share their concerns with us,” said Sixth District at large Councilman Scott Taylor.
“It’s vital that we talk with the community and learn from them what needs they have and what challenges they face,” said Sixth District Councilman John Sharp.
Two more meetings will be scheduled at a later date to provide additional opportunities for residents unable to participate in this Wednesday’s meeting.
