Sewer repairs close Locust Street between 11th and 12th streets
Locust Street from 11th to 12th streets will be closed from 6 a.m. on Nov. 14, to 6 a.m. on Nov. 16 while contractors for the City of Kansas City, Mo., Water Services Department continue the repair and replacement of a sewer line.
Approximately 30 feet of 18-inch clay sewer line will be replaced and repaired. An obstruction in the sewer line is reducing its capacity. Following the replacement and repair of the sewer line, a solid, cured-in-place liner will be installed in the sewer at a later date for Phase II of the repair of the sewer line.
