Human Relations Department staff temporarily relocates
The City of Kansas City, Mo., Human Relations Department staff is temporarily moving out of the fourth floor of City Hall, 414 E. 12th St. Beginning Oct. 16, the staff will be relocated to offices on the seventh floor of Oak Towers, 324 E. 11th St.
This staff is being relocated while their offices on the fourth floor of City Hall are renovated. The renovation is expected to be completed in April.
All mail should be sent to the City Hall address. All telephone numbers for the employees will remain the same. The main telephone number is (816) 513-1836.
The Human Relations Department is responsible for many of the City's equality and human rights programs, and provides services that promote harmony and understanding. These programs and services include overseeing disadvantaged minority/women business enterprise goals for the City, providing mediation services, enforcing the City's civil rights ordinance, managing the HUD Section 3 Office and monitoring City contracts for contract compliance.
