Inquiries, e-filings and payments now possible through the Municipal Court’s improved interactive webpage

Numerous user-friendly features have been added to the City of Kansas City, Mo., Municipal Court’s webpage, offering new conveniences to defendants, other residents and attorneys. The webpage is directly accessible at

The webpage is configured so that visitors can inquire about a case, obtain a ticket number, see a fine amount, pay fines online, obtain court date information, and find out whether a bench warrant has been issued. A Frequently Asked Questions page answers 14 common questions and provides links to agencies where other services are available.

The site provides several links that are useful to attorneys, including links to MOBAR, KCMBA, Case Net, and Red Light Camera Violation Information. Although the Attorney Page is now under construction, it is expected to be available in coming weeks. Attorneys may use that page to enter filings online, as well as to obtain a first continuance of cases.

“The enhancements to our webpage have been designed so that people can handle several types of court business online, without having to leave their home or office,” said Presiding Judge Katherine Bromfield Emke. “In addition to the convenience that this affords our customers, we believe that our new interactive webpage will facilitate our court’s administrative efficiencies, too.”
